July Workshoppe
“Spooky Storytelling 101: Ideas, Plot, & Outline”
Autumn is just around the corner! (Well, the first day of the season, that is: Sept. 22.)
So, to get everyone into the spooky spirit—as if the Cove isn’t that way all the time!—the Pumpkinlight Cove Historical Society is sponsoring a creative writing workshoppe for teenagers and adults—Spooky Storytelling 101: Ideas, Plot, & Outline.
WHEN: July 22, 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
WHERE: Historic district of Pumpkinlight Cove (edge of Cemetery Woods)
COST: $10/person (limit 25 students)
Participants will learn how to generate story ideas, develop them into a basic plot, and then outline the general story. For those who wish to take their learning as step further, they can attend the follow-up workshoppe in August—Spooky Storytelling, 201—where they can learn about character development and scene development.
We hope to see you there!
